Hello and thank you for stepping in to my online writing office! I know you’re busy, so I’ll be quick.
A little bit about me…
First and foremost, you may be wondering how to pronounce my name. It’s pronounced like Fay-dra. My family has Greek roots, as you might have already guessed.
My writing tendencies took root when I was in the 7th grade after winning an award for a poem I wrote. Although I don’t write poetry anymore (this is of no loss to anyone, believe me), I kept my pen and paper handy through college and earned a degree in Journalism.
Interestingly enough, I didn’t start my post-university career in writing. I was hired right out of college as a meeting and event planner. What does being a meeting planner have in common with writing? Other than writing sales pitches and press packets, not much. But it ushered me in to the world of working with a variety of clients with different needs and speedy deadlines.
As life unfolded between having a family and a couple of cross-country relocations, I managed to keep my toes in the writing waters. I’ve been freelancing for the last 17 years for a range of outlets, including parenting publications, magazines, newspapers, schools, and small businesses.
Which brings me back to you…
My business is built on a strong desire to make you, your business, or your cause noticeable.
If you’ve ever seen a peacock fan out its feathers, you might agree that they’re hard to miss. That’s what I want for you; I want you to be hard to miss. That’s why I say, your mission matters and so should your message.
